Pain Location: A Comprehensive User Guide

You are the master of your own fate

Dear Community,

Living with pain can be challenging, that’s why our app aims to make your journey to relief easier and more efficient. In this guide, we'll walk you through the app's interface and how to make the most of its features.

  1. Identifying Your Discomfort

When you're in pain, the first step is to open the app and navigate to the “Heal” tab. Then tap the area where you're experiencing discomfort. Once there, you'll discover the three foundational pillars of our approach: Release, Strength, and Mobility.

  • Release: In this section, you'll find in-depth illustrations of the human body, with the affected muscles highlighted in blue to show the areas where you might experience pain or discomfort. Look for cross-marks on these images, as they signify key points for releasing the muscle tissue or testing to replicate your symptoms. If a muscle doesn't trigger pain or feels significantly different from your discomfort, you may need to continue searching. In many cases, multiple muscles may contribute to your discomfort, so it's essential to explore them all.

  • Strength and Mobility: For every muscle you identify in the Release section, you'll find specific exercises in the Strength and Mobility categories. These exercises are ordered based on their relevance to common daily activities, with the most probable ones listed first.

  1. Finding the Right Exercises

To pinpoint the exercises that will benefit you the most, focus on the muscles causing your discomfort. If Muscle 1 is at the top of the Release section, the relevant exercises for that muscle will also be at the top. Conversely, if you discover a muscle causing the same pain pattern but it's at the end of the list, its corresponding exercises in the Strength and Mobility category will be at the end as well.

  1. Creating and Managing Collections

Organizing your exercises is essential for an effective pain relief routine. The app allows you to create collections of exercises tailored to your needs. Here's how:

  • Save to Collection: While viewing an exercise video, simply click on the list button below the video and add all the relevant exercises to it. After that, give your collection a name (e.g., "Feel Better")

  • Using the Collection Button: You can also access your exercise collection list through the Collection button in the training section. By tapping the "+" button, you can create a new collection. Specify the region you want to work on with the filter options next to the search bar, and the app will filter and display all the exercises relevant to that area.

  1. Using the Search Function

The app features a powerful search function designed to help you quickly find exercises related to your specific symptoms. If you're experiencing any specific symptom (for example tinnitus, tennis elbow…), simply type it into the search bar. The app will gather all the release exercises associated with that symptom, making it easier for you to address your specific discomfort.
