Our Biggest Update Yet: What’s New in HealEra 2.0
Transforming Pain Relief
Dear Community,
A little over a year ago, we launched HealEra with a clear mission: to make a pain-free life accessible to everyone. As we added more features, we noticed that the app became harder to navigate, and the actionable parts of the experience were not always front and center. Balancing usability with feature richness proves to be a tightrope walk.
In developing our next major update, we focused on our core goal of accessibility. The 2.0 redesign makes the app more intuitive and user-friendly, allowing you to get straight to working toward your goals.
A Focused Dashboard
Our new dashboard offers the most important information at a glance. You can easily track your weekly goals, see which training session is planned next, and navigate to your statistics and collections with a single tap.
We’ve also introduced a new level test. Complete this short test to assess your current training level. When you select a training routine, the app will automatically match the difficulty to your level. By repeating this test multiple times throughout the year, you can get a clear indicator of your progress.
Additionally, we’re excited to announce the weekly streak feature. Complete at least one training session (of any type) each week to keep your streak alive! Consistency is key, so aim to gather as many completions as possible.
A New Training Library
A lot of work has gone into our updated training library. First off, choosing your preferred routine has become much easier. We provide clear explanations for every series and its specific goals. Using the training level mentioned earlier, you will be automatically guided to the appropriate difficulty.
The changes go beyond presentation. Under the hood, we’ve revamped the routines to make them more accessible. Lower levels now require little to no equipment, allowing you to start without hassle. We’ve reserved more advanced equipment for higher difficulties, ensuring that high-level athletes still face plenty of challenges.
Improved Scheduling
If it isn't in the calendar, it won't get done. That's why we've completely overhauled the calendar UI to make scheduling your training sessions as easy as possible. With just a few taps, you can create your entire workout plan for the upcoming week or even month, all while keeping track of your past achievements.
Get Right Into the Action
Choosing the right workout used to take too many taps to get started. We've solved this problem in three key ways.
First, by improving the training library, we've made the necessary information more readily available and reduced the number of decisions needed to start a training session.
Second, we provide easy access to your next planned training session directly from the dashboard, making scheduling quick and frictionless.
Third, we made sure you can train from anywhere. Whether you want to train a single specific exercise, a whole routine, a collection, or your own custom creation, you can start and measure any session with ease.
Introducing: Rehab Routines
A completely new addition to the app are our rehab routines. When you select a pain location from the 'Body' tab, you now have the option to build a rehab routine for that specific area. Choose whether you want to release, mobilize, or strengthen the area—or mix and match. The app will then generate a number of exercises tailored to your needs. With one more click, you'll be launched directly into the routine.
