As discussed in our previous post, HealEra comes with a large number of predesigned training routines. We strive to deliver a lot of variation to keep your training fun and engaging.

Still, in some cases, it may be necessary to adapt your routine to your specific needs. That’s why we are excited to introduce a new and powerful feature in HealEra that will take your training experience to the next level. In addition to our extensive collection of predesigned training routines, we have now launched the fully-featured Training Editor, allowing you to customise your workouts according to your specific goals.

Any training routine you create using the Training Editor will be seamlessly integrated into the app's existing features. The results you achieve from your customised workouts will be included in your overall statistics, providing you with a comprehensive overview of your progress.

Why and when should I create my own trainings?

There are a number of situations when it would be useful to be able to create your own routines.

Rehabilitating from a specific injury

Recovering from long-term injuries often requires focused attention on specific body parts. With the guidance of your physician and the information provided in the app, you have the power to create a routine precisely tailored to rework any imbalances caused by a prolonged period of inactivity. By incorporating targeted exercises into your routine, you can regain strength and flexibility in the affected area. The HealEra Training Editor is your key to designing a personalized rehabilitation plan.

Training with collections curated by your physician

The HealEra app allows physicians and users to create and share collections containing exercises that are relevant to their current health problems. In a collection, use the upper-right menu to send the curated movements directly to the training editor. A round will be pre-generated with all the exercises from the collection. You can then customize the number of round repetitions and exercise properties to suit your preferences. The best part is that your work with these exercises will be seamlessly integrated into your overall statistics, providing you with a comprehensive overview of your progress.

Just for the fun of it

Sometimes, we all need a little extra motivation to keep pushing ourselves. Creating your own training routines can be an exciting way to add a touch of personalization and challenge to your fitness journey. Set yourself a proper challenge by selecting exercises that push your limits or create a collection of your favorite or most challenging movements. With each passing week, you can strive to improve and witness your progress firsthand. Remember, staying engaged and having fun is key to maintaining a sustainable fitness routine.

How does it work?

Trainings in the Editor, known as User Trainings, are built similarly to the routines found in the app. They consist of rounds, with each round containing one or multiple exercises. During a training session, the rounds are executed sequentially until the last exercise is completed.

To edit a round, simply tap on it. To add exercises, access the menu located in the upper right corner. You can choose between repetition-based or time-based exercises, depending on your preference. To rearrange elements, you can easily drag them up or down. The menu also provides an option to include rest periods between exercises, allowing you to fine-tune your workout. Once you've made your changes, remember to apply them.

To reorder rounds, select the option from the upper-right menu. In this menu, you can also add additional rounds and rename your training. Once you're satisfied with your custom routine, save it through the same menu. You will also find a "Load" button, which allows you to recall previously saved User Trainings, giving you the flexibility to switch between different routines effortlessly.

When you're ready to embark on your newly created challenge, tap the "Start Training" option and get ready to enjoy the ride. Experience the satisfaction of engaging in a workout that is perfectly tailored to your needs and goals.
